Overall very good estate condition, barrel bluing is uniformly present albeit tired and worn in some locations, bores are bright and shiny, barrels very clearly with a church bell tone, barrel to receiver fit is tight, healthy color casing color remains with some wear around the fences, engraving is clear and undiminished, nicely figured buttstock, stock set finishes are warmly satin in their sheen, checkering is very fine LPI which wraps over the wrist with very few areas small spots of depression, forend checkering is equally fine and remains clean and unharmed, damage to toe of buttstock with missing third of factory buttplate.
