Lucien Delarue was a French painter celebrated for his watercolor and oil paintings of Parisian streets, Montmartre, and the landscapes of southern France. Trained at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière under Yves Brayer, he developed a vibrant style that captured the atmosphere and charm of France's cities and countryside. Delarue exhibited extensively in France and abroad, earning numerous awards and membership in the Salon des Artistes Français and the French Watercolor Society.
