Cromwell, Connecticut, painted cast iron, stamped "PATENTED JUNE 28 1896" to underside, to use bank: pull back lever on Tell's rifle, place the coin on top of the rifle and lower the boy's hand to reveal the apple, press down Tell's right foot and the coin fill fly into the castle, hit the apple off of the boy's head and fall into the bank with a sonorous chime.
