19th century Chinese lacquered box with hinged lid and applied brass paw feet creatively filled with an assembled group of natural red branch coral adhered to the interior.

With lid partially closed 10 x 13 x 9 in.

Several coral pieces are loose, several with nicks to surface; box with gilt rubbing, cracking and chipping to lacquer.
