Meiji period (1868-1912), a double gourd shaped vase ornately hand painted with haloed arhats rendered in raised gold and colored enamels over cloud and wave backgrounds, gilt lion mask heads flank the lower neck, mark to the underside.

Good estate condition; mark to underside with rubbing and difficult to read characters clearly; old paper label to underside.
