Early to mid-20th century, unsigned, each with brass or metal ferrules over a wooden shaft with metal ground tip, the first featuring a cresting whale handle carved in horn and bone (36 in.); the second carved with insects over a brass ferrule (37 1/2 in.); the third and fourth of equestrian theme carved with horse heads and money mask (40 in. longest); the fifth carved in the form of a sleeping figure in foliate pod (36 in.); the sixth of carved bone shaft and knob handle, etched with Chinoiserie figural designs (33 in.)
Some areas of cracks to whale with some associated repairs; some surface scratches and natural age check to bone; surface wear to metal.
