Meiji period (1868-1912), cloisonné box with hinged cover, the cover with turquoise ground decorated in enamels with maple leaves and large peony blooms, the underside with green ground and swirling tendrils and flora decoration, an Ando mark to the center, interior unadorned.

2 x 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 in.

Some minor wear to interior; some light crazing to cover; otherwise good estate condition.
