Circa 1980, wall mount form desk with single board top with live edge, dovetailed case with two graduated drawers beside a central long drawer, together with a Windsor style side chair with live edge seat and tripod base, appears unmarked; accompanied with cleat for wall mounting and a trifold publication on Michael Elkan.

Desk 10 x 69 x 23 in., chair 32 x 16 x 15 in., seat height 21.5 in.

Michael is a publicized and award winning cabinet maker with exhibitions including the George Nakashima Studio, Philadelphia Craft Show, Craftsman Gallery, American Craft Council, and more; with his works being collected by museums, corporations and clients such as Dan Rather, George Bush Sr., Val Kilmer, Carly Simon, and many others.

Overall good estate condition; the top of the desk with a small area of finish inconsistency; the wall mount (on the desk) with crack and repair at one end (now stable).
