Contemporary, high grade exotic wood veneers, one part form with open bookshelves and rear cut-out for television mount, with metal wall brace, appears unsigned.

Michael is an accomplished artist who uses wood as one of his primary media, creating one-of-a-kind furniture and sculptural pieces. A native of Cincinnati, OH, Michael now resides in Chapel Hill. He is a past recipient of a Fine Arts Scholarship to Georgetown College and has taught at North Carolina’s Penland School of Crafts. His accolades include a 1994 NC Arts Council Visual Arts Fellowship and recognition as a finalist in the NC Museum of Art’s 1993 Triennial Exhibit. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions across the Southeast including several shows at Somerhill Gallery.

Note this unit is one piece; overall good condition with some minor scrapes and signs of use.
