Georgian Mahogany Stick Barometer

First quarter 19th century, unsigned engraved steel dial behind a hinged glass door with vernier scale and exposed mercury tubing, the trunk with chevron veneers over a spherical cistern, topped with a molded broken pediment with central brass urn.


39 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 3 in.

Some light scratches to case; mercury tubing intact; unknown if in proper working condition. Please note that due to the presence of mercury, this item cannot be shipped.
