English Carved Oak Aneroid Barometer

Late 19th century, Gothic style carved oak case featuring turned baluster half columns flanking a mercury thermometer encased behind glass, above an 8-inch main dial underneath a brass bezeled glass front, unmarked.

35 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 3 3/4 in.

Overall good condition, with a few minor nicks to case apron and pediment; unknown if in proper working condition, thermometer appears to have correct temperature. Please note that due to the presence of mercury, this item cannot be shipped.
