Scottish Carved Mahogany Aneroid Wheel Barometer, W. Roberton of Glasgow

Late 19th century, Neoclassical style case with oscrollling acanthus carved moldings, diapered central panel surround the unsigned 8-inch main dial, beneath a mercury thermometer encased behind glass, retaining label to the verso "W. ROBERTON, Optician / 225 SAUGHIEHALL STREET / GLASGOW."

32 1/2 x 13 x 3 in.

Overall good cosmetic condition; some surface wear to the brass bezel. Please note that due to the presence of mercury, this item cannot be shipped.
