Lancashire, England, circa 1900, banjo form carved in the form of floral baskets scrolled neck terminating in a shield pediment and cartouche apron, featuring an 8-inch main dial signed "LINSCOTTS LTD. / BURNLEY" behind glass with brass bezel, beneath an encased mercury thermometer with spiraled terminus.

34 1/2 x 13 x 3 in.

Some light surface wear to the stained finish; spotting to brass; unknown if in proper working condition. Please note that due to the presence of mercury, this item cannot be shipped.
