From the Collection of the late Anna Packard, Long Island, New York and Wilmington, North Carolina Anne Packard was born in Hyde Park, New York. A third-generation artist, she grew up spending summers in Provincetown and later made it her permanent home, where she developed her practice over more than four decades. Initially self-taught and working on driftwood and weathered shingles, she later studied with Philip Malicoat and established her own Packard Gallery in Provincetown in 1988, where she and her family continue to exhibit.
