Havre de Grace, Maryland, before 1900, carved and painted wood, incised MF. published on page 92 of Master Carver Mitchell Fulcher published by the Carolina Decoy Collectors Association.

This Jim Holly bluebill exhibits his typical body and head pattern. The body has an upturned tail and the head is not as thick as those made by Mitchell Fulcher. This decoy has been X-rayed and it clearly shows the Jim Holly nail pattern. Unlike the Mitchell Fulcher decoys, a finishing nail was used for neck support.
