Purchased in 1983 from Vickie Midgett, Pharoah's granddaughter.

Midgett was born and raised in the small community south of Rodanthe. He market hunted the reefs out in the sound. None of his duck decoys survived. For over fifty years, he had an affinity for hunting shorebirds. Carved from one piece of wood.

Original paint with moderate gunning wear, hit by shot, wear to tip of the bill.
