Spencer, Browning & Co, Mahogany Marine Stick Barometer

London, circa 1840-1870, featuring an arched engraved main dial with mercury gauge and vernier scale signed "SPENCER / BROWNING & CO. / LONDON," above a central mercury thermometer, with lower brass barrel cistern.

38 1/2 x 3 x 2 1/4 in.

Good estate condition; missing gimbal mount; a few minor surface nicks to case and light finish wear to wood and brass. Unknown if in proper working condition (instrument reading accurately at time of review). Please note that due to the presence of mercury, this item cannot be shipped.
