Late 19th century, a pair of porcelain hexagonal vases hand painted with mountain seaside landscapes and with a calligraphy inscription to the reverse side, foo lions in high relief flank the neck of each, unmarked.
Each 11 x 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 in.
From the Collection of a Gentleman, Fearrington, North Carolina Both vases with repairs and restoration to rims; one with large chip remaining; chip to one of the foo lions; vases are a bit off balance; some type of glue residue to underside foot rim of both.
