Republic period (1912-1949), a mirrored pair of cylindrical porcelain hat stands, hand-painted with a pheasant perched in a lush landscape populated with pink flowers, the reverse side of each with a Chinese inscription in black ink and with two red seals below a four character inscription in red cleric script, drilled and set into carved wood bases, with a single lightbulb fitting, surmounted by a polished pink quartz finial, presented together with silk lampshades.

On hat stand with crack and repair between inscription and landscape; Vessels drilled and fitted as lamps; vessels not examined outside of lamp mounts; lampshades with some scattered spots of discoloration.
