The first a sterling compact, worn maker's mark possibly of Crown Silver Co., pattern number 2309, marked "925 FINE STERLING," with engraved ribbon monogram(1 1/2 x 4 x 3 in.); the second a sterling card case with mark of Schira Bros. Manufacturing Jewelers, hammered interior marked "STERLING" to the interior clasp, the obverse with engine turned designs, engraved monogram EDKJr. to the corner (3 x 4 in.); the third a coin purse, marked "STERLING" to the interior (3 1/2 x 2 3/4 in.); the fourth a Continental .800 silver hinged cigarette case, lid decorated with repoussé classical violinist and floral scroll borders, circa 1900, marked "800" to rim with worn maker's mark (3 1/2 x 2 1/8 in.).
