Japanese Carved Onyx Okimono of Two Beetles on a Log

Probably Meiji period (1868-1912), intricately carved and polished onyx with two beetles in high relief crawling across a bas-relief leaf atop a log, unsigned.

2 3/4 x 6 x 3 1/4 in.

Are of loss to larger beetle's front right leg; a few fleabites to body, mainly to smaller beetle.
