Meiji period (1868-1912), hand-painted and gilt tapered vases with flared and fluted rim and banded neck, each with patchwork decoration to body featuring flora, fauna, dragons, and textile designs, unmarked, presented together with carved wood stands.
Vase 17 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 in.; stand 1 1/2 in., 4 in. diameter
Some small areas of mounting adhesive residue to undersides of vases and stands; otherwise good estate condition.
