Katsuyuki Nishijima is a Japanese woodblock print artist known for serene depictions of traditional Japan. Trained at Kyoto’s Mikumo studio, he draws on sosaku‑hanga and shin‑hanga to portray historic streets, thatched houses, and quiet rural landscapes, often without figures or modern elements, creating a timeless, contemplative mood.
