Meiji period (1868-1912), a bronze urn cast in relief with birds and flowers, the body flanked by phoenix head curved handles, the high foot with archaic ground overlaid with elaborately detailed lions, the underside has been drilled directly through the maker's mark.

Small dent to rim; a few small areas of surface marks, oxidation spotting to crevices, and rubbing to patina.
