Qing dynasty (1644-1912), mid- to late 19th century, both in baluster form with flared rims, each with carved wood stand, the taller marked with apocryphal Chenghua period four character mark to underside, presented with carved wood stands.
Taller 15 3/8 x 8 1/8 in. diameter; shorter 14 7/8 x 8in. diameter; stands 2 1/4 x 7 1/4 in. diameter
From the Collection of Jon and Mary Leadbetter, Chapel Hill, North Carolina Nicks and glaze loss to rim of the taller; the shorter with break and repair to rim with associated adhesive residue.
