Late 20th century, dark gray marble columnar pedestal mounted with an 11" round cast brass sundial having bird form gnomon, embossed phrase from Robert Browning's poem Rabbi Ben Ezra: "GROW OLD /ALONG WITH / ME THE BEST IS YET TO BE" with a relief image of father time.

27 x 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 in.

Some areas of loss to the lower foot rim of marble; light oxidation to brass.
