Cut out with bronzed heightening and mounted on paper, the first English of a young girl in profile facing dexter, the backing paper stamped "Cut Scissors At White's," and the wood backing identifying "Mary Jane Davis / Chester Road / Manchester," within a period frame with later printed version of the aforementioned interior marks (7 x 6 x 1 in.); the second possibly American, of a young boy, presented in a period ebonized frame with oak leaf hanger, appears unmarked (5 3/4 x 5 in.).
