Southern Decoys of Virginia and the Carolinas by Henry Fleckenstein.
Length 10 in.
This shorebird decoy is believed to have been made by Bob Willis who was the caretaker of the Davis Island Club. It would have been modeled after a Verity family decoy , pronounced wing relief carving.
