Late 19th century, teak folding chair with intricate bone and ebony inlaid decoration, having a pierced back in the form of opposing peacocks, leopard head arm terminals, with seat that can be removed and chair folded for for carrying, paper label to underside "Made in British India, No. 7" and incised "Made in India" to the seat.

36 1/4 x 28 3/4 x 19 1/2 in.

Scattered nicks and toning to bone inlay; a few small areas of loss to inlay; a few scattered nicks and cracks to wood; one left arm support with crack; a few elements with slight gapping and warping to joints.
