Kangxi period (1662-1722), includes a bell shaped tea pot and a tea pot with top mounted handle, both hand-painted in underglaze blue with floral decoration, unmarked.

Taller 4 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 2 7/8 in.; shorter 3 1/2 x 4 7/8 x 3 1/8 in.

From the collection of Alice Sophie Everts (von Groening) (1890-1990) and husband Dirk Everts (1890-1928), and by family descent
Acquired in the 1920s by Dirk Everts while in the service of the Dutch government in Hong Kong. The collection was subsequently brought to the Netherlands, where it remained in the Everts family and survived the years of Nazi occupation. Thence by family descent.

Shorter with firing crack wrapping top of handle, hole drilled to lid; taller with nicks to rim and one nick to foot rim, nick to rim of lid, fleabite to handle.
