Republic period (1912-1949), porcelain hand-painted in polychrome enamels with two dogs standing in a lush landscape with bamboo and rocks, a red four character seal mark Fuliang Tao Zhi to lower right corner, presented in a wood frame.

15 x 9 3/4 x 1/4 in.

During the Republic period, a ceramics focused vocational school that trained students in ceramic craft was established in what is now Fuliang County, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province, China. Many impressive ceramic artists taught there including Liu Yucen.

Very good condition; not examined outside of the frame.
