Overall very good estate condition, barrel slow rust bluing is well done, few scattered pits under forend, bores are bright and shiny as expected, sleeved with new tubes, very clear and sustained church bell tone, barrel to receiver fit is tight, evidence of past rejoin, border engraving only with maker name engraving remaining very legible on against and old coin patina, lightly figured buttstock with scattered blemishes from field use and slightly thinking oil finish towards the butt, checkering remains crisp with mullered borders, recoil pad is in good condition and is well fit.
