An Embroidery on Silk of Bamboo Mounted as Hanging Scroll

Early 20th century, silk thread on silk, bamboo stalks and leaves embroidered in shades of black and gray, embroidered with an inscription to lower left side together with two red seals, presented as a hanging scroll on light cream mount.

Rolled 16 in., 2 1/4 in. diameter, Hanging 57 1/2 x 16 in., Sight size 44 1/2 x 13 1/2 in.

a few spots of toning to silk; some smudges of ink to mount and scattered foxing.
