Late Qing and early Republic period, porcelain hand-painted in famille rose palette, the first with long neck and bulbous lower body is decorated with two elegant women with a foo lion in a lush garden setting, the second vase decorated with two men, one riding a horse, and their attendant under a plum blossom tree, each with gilt to mouth rim, both unmarked.
5 3/4 in., 4 1/2 in. diameter, 6 in., 4 1/2 in. diameter
Very good condition; one vase with some rubbing with light loss to gilt at rim.
