Meiji period (1868-1912), two part bronzes, both incredibly well cast, each includes a vase with dragon handles and shaped registers populated with birds and flowers in high relief, fits into an elaborately cast base having four elephant head feet rising from a circular base with floral pattern, both vases have signatures to underside, the stands have what appear to be a museum accession number incised.

HOA 16 3/4 x 8 x 6 in.

One with loss to one element at top of base; the other base with evidence of solder repair visible to underside; both with scattered rubbing to patina.
