American Classical Mahogany Marble Top Pier Table

Circa 1840, mahogany veneer, white pine and poplar secondary, serpentine marble top, conforming skirt with beaded lower edge, mirror paneled base with lyre form supports and applied foliate carvings, flared plinth with beaded edge, scrolled feet on casters.

36 x 34 x 18.5 in.

Later marble top with some staining; mirror is old and with some silver loss; old surface with attractive rich patina and slight crazing; overall good age appropriate condition.
