Di Li Feng is a contemporary painter and professor at the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in China. Born in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, he graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing and completed his postgraduate degree in 1990. His work quickly attracted attention beyond China, bringing him recognition among international collectors.

Di’s oil paintings have been exhibited extensively in the United States, particularly in Los Angeles and New York, and he has lectured at several American universities. His practice seeks to unite the realism of carefully rendered figures with the atmosphere created through abstract textures and nuanced backgrounds. Drawing inspiration from the grandeur and complexity of China’s imperial past, his paintings reflect what he describes as an enchantment with its “honour or disgrace, its tragedies, sadness, sentimentality and great joys.”

Very good estate condition.
