Kangxi period (1662-1722), porcelain hand-painted in underglaze blue with leaf pattern, includes three jars, one with silver top and two with dome covers topped with small foo lion dog (3 3/4 in., 2 1/4 in. diameter; silver cover 4 1/14 in., 2 1/4 in. diameter)(small nicks to rim of jar and covers), and a vase with scalloped rim (3 in., 2 in. diameter)(breaks with repair and restoration).


From the collection of Alice Sophie Everts (von Groening) (1890-1990) and husband Dirk Everts (1890-1928), and by family descent
Acquired in the 1920s by Dirk Everts while in the service of the Dutch government in Hong Kong. The collection was subsequently brought to the Netherlands, where it remained in the Everts family and survived the years of Nazi occupation. Thence by family descent.
