Kangxi period (1662-1722), porcelain hand-painted with underglaze blue, includes three elegantly shaped double gourd vases decorated with flora.


7 3/4 in., 3 3/4 in. diameter; 7 5/8 in., 4 1/4 in. diameter; 4 1/2 in., 2 1/4 in. diameter

From the collection of Alice Sophie Everts (von Groening) (1890-1990) and husband Dirk Everts (1890-1928), and by family descent
Acquired in the 1920s by Dirk Everts while in the service of the Dutch government in Hong Kong. The collection was subsequently brought to the Netherlands, where it remained in the Everts family and survived the years of Nazi occupation. Thence by family descent.

The tallest with scattered nicks to foot rim; otherwise good estate condition.
