A Pair of Large Gilded Carved Wood Foo Lions with Stands

Mid- to late 20th century, foo lions sit at attention, their mouths open, facing one another, the male lion holds a ball under his front paw and the female lion has a cub clinging to her leg, both presented on raised rectangular red lacquer stands with floral relief decoration in gold.
