A Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Covered Bowl with Warriors

Mid- to late 19th century, porcelain finely hand-painted in famille verte enamels with immortals and attendants riding mythical beasts, body is flanked by braided gilt handles, the cover with a decorative border of floral cartouches and scrolling foliage, topped with a pomegranate finial, unmarked.

Bowl 5 1/2 x 7 1/4 in. diameter; stand 3 1/2 x 6 1/2 in. diameter

A few very small nicks to rim of cover; otherwise good estate condition; stand with several breaks and repairs.
