20th century, each horse modeled in a lively prancing stance and decorated in brightly colored cloisonné enamels with scrolling lotus and floral motifs on a deep blue ground, the trappings and saddlecloths enriched with stylized patterns and gilt accents.

Taller 16 3/4 x 6 x 19 in.; shorter 16 1/4 x 6 x 20 in.

One horse with loss to side of saddle, cracking to enamel at head with possible break and repair to one ear, cracking and small nicks to mane, looseness to mane; the other with removable mane, soldering repair visible to top of mane; both with scattered small areas of wear to enamel.
