Kentucky Token, 1792-1794, Reeded Edge Variety

Struck copper, the obverse shows a document reading "OUR CAUSE IS JUST." The reverse depicts a triangle of stars, each representing one of the fifteen United States. The top star is stamped "K" for Kentucky, hence the unofficial name given to the tokens.
