A Large Carved Hardstone Celadon Hardstone Qilin

20th century, carved pale celadon hard stone, possibly jade, figure of a striding mythical beast, the mane and tail finely incised, the stone with light russet inclusions, presented together with a fitted wood stand and a presentation box.

Tight hairline wrapping body, small hairline to front left paw; dust soiling to crevices; a few small nicks mainly to paws; loss to one foot and warping to the wooden stand.
