19th century, a pair or porcelain bowls with barbed rims hand painted in underglaze blue with ruyi cloud border to the rim and sprays of flowers to the exterior sides, the interior decorated with a sweet squirrel and flowers within a medallion to center of well, raised on short unglazed foot rims, unmarked.

Each 2 1/2 in., 4 3/4 in. diameter

From the Collection of Alice Sophie Everts (von Groening) (1890-1990) and husband Dirk Everts (1890-1928), and by family descent
