19th century, porcelain bowls hand painted in underglaze blue, the tall mug has a bulbous body decorated with lotus blossoms, a curved ear shaped handle, and short flared foot, and a tea caddy raised on a reticulated foot, the body painted with a continuous mountainous seaside landscape, both unmarked.

Mug 5 x 6 x 3 1/2 in., Caddy 4 in., 3 1/4 in. diameter

From the Collection of Alice Sophie Everts (von Groening) (1890-1990) and husband Dirk Everts (1890-1928), and by family descent

The mug with hairline wrapping mug from base, another hairline to base of handle; the caddy without lid, chip and small crack to base.
