Richard Joshua Reynolds III (1933–1994) was the American heir to the R.J. Reynolds tobacco fortune and the grandson of company founder R.J. Reynolds. R.J. Reynolds founded the company in 1875 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It grew into one of the largest and most influential tobacco companies in the United States, producing major cigarette brands such as Camel (introduced in 1913) and later Winston and Salem. The company played a major role in the economic development of Winston-Salem and became a dominant force in the American tobacco industry during the 20th century.

Rather than leading the tobacco business, Reynolds III pursued interests in publishing and film. He founded Full Sky Publishing Company to promote young writers and was involved in producing the film Siddhartha, based on the novel by Hermann Hesse. He died in 1994 at age 60 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
