Republic period (1912-1949), porcelain bowl hand painted with two iron red and gilt dragons encircle the exterior of the bowl chasing flaming pearls surrounded by fire bands and ruyi head clouds, wave border above foot rim, interior well of bowl with a longevity symbol, the underside with a ten character inscription in underglaze blue reading Zhonghua Minguo Jiangxi Ciye Gongsi (Republic of China, Jiangxi Porcelain Company).
