Born in Richmond, Virginia, Ferguson currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She has exhibited widely at institutions and galleries including the Contemporary Art Center in Cincinnati, SculptureCenter, and Socrates Sculpture Park. Elise Ferguson often fuses silkscreen processes with textile design in her work. For her recent collaboration with Russell Janis, she adapted the visual language of her paintings into Rockfalls, a limited-edition textile block print on linen.
