2008, soldered frames with cut and acid etched float glass panels with enamel paint, the first as part of the "Coloured Figures" series with green and red stained glass (23 x 17 3/8 in.); the second as part of the "Large Blue Figures" series with blue stained glass (21 5/8 x 16 3/4 in.), both signed and dated to lower right.

Good estate condition.

Angus studied at Swansea School of Art before establishing his own studio in 1978. Since then he has designed and executed architectural stained glass commissions for churches, private homes and public institutions both in the UK and abroad, with a particularly strong body of work in Germany. A few notable windows he has completed in the UK include those in the Durham Cathedral, the Church of St. Andrew & St. Cuthman, the Guildford Cathedral, the Oundle School Chapel, and the Perth Baptist Church. Angus has a reputation for innovative and distinctive designs that relate to the architecture and function of the building.
